Beach Day

It was a little overcast and we had a few showers, but that did not stop us from heading to the beach.  The area is Costa Brava and there are many, many beaches.  The first one we stopped at was really rocky, but we saw another bay that looked promising, so off we went.

When we got there it was amazing.  The beach was sandy and rocky.  The water was crystal clear.  It could have been warmer out, but at least we did not have to worry about getting burned.  Here are a couple photos of the beach:

We had a great time swimming with the schools of fish, finding beach glass and eating our lunch.

After the beach we walked around the apartment in Girona.  The scene was straight out of Assassins Creed and the kids engaged in a little parkour. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour

We found a restaurant that had some vegetarian tapas and had a decent supper.  It is a little more difficult finding vegetarian food in Spain.  We have to focus our efforts.
